Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy, born 25th November 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer that was honored for her outstanding contribution in American television. The show has been highly praised for her stellar performance on the American television show Law & Order in which she as Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she played Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six seasons. Her acting talents were displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent film, she exercised her co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy started her acting career along with her sister, in 1988. They played two call-girls in Dead Ringers. Her Broadway debut came in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she played the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus. The following fall year, she joined the crew of the NBC hit crime-drama Law & Order in the character of assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid.
