Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu films in addition to a few Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress as the the role of actress Savitri in Mahanati, a Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). Her other awards include the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South as well as three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy has the father of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. In the early 2000s, she was a teen actor. After completing her studies in fashion design, she returned to the world of film. The year 2013 was the last time she was the leading role in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and signed up to be a part of several Tamil films simultaneously. In 2015 she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite each other. But, both films did not do well in the cinemas. She had to drop out of several films she was working on in 2015, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam to make room for more ambitious projects. In a short time, she worked with Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and was also the lead actor in Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. She made her Telugu debut had been scheduled in the form of Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film has been delayed in 2015, and there are reports that it will be released after September 2020, under the name Janakitho Nenu. The film's debut was Nenu Sailaja in 2016 with actor Ram Pothineni. In January 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
